Harold Reeves Obituary
Harold retired from Southern Bell after over 37 years of service as a Test Desk Supervisor. He served in the US Navy during WWII. He was very active in the Knights of Columbus, serving as Grand Knight and District Deputy. Harold coached little league baseball for 18 years and enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He was a member of St. Dominic's Catholic Church.
He is preceded in death by his son, Harold Reeves, Jr. and two brothers, Paul Reeves and Dudley Reeves.
Harold is survived by his wife of 62 years, Irene C. Reeves; son, Tom Reeves and wife, Donna; daughter, Donna Reeves Filler; three sisters, Wilma Morgan, Rosalyn Woolley, and Melba Barley and husband, Ralph; and six grandchildren, John Michael Filler, Jr., Jenna Filler, Chrysta, Jared, Patrick, and Sarah Reeves.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009 at 10 a.m. at St. Dominic's Catholic Church with Fr. Ben Klucinec officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bay County Council on Aging; 116 Frankford Avenue, Panama City, FL 32401.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Reeves. I have only just found out, and wanted to send my condolences. I worked at BellSouth with Mr. Reeves, and Mrs. Reeves was my teacher at St. John's Catholic
School, and I also went to school with Harold Jr., and have known the family many years. May God bless and comfort you now and the days ahead. Love and God Bless.
