Janet Barclay Obituary
Survivors include her husband, Eugene Barclay of Callaway, Fla.; her children; Todd Hower (Rachel) of Jacksonville, Fla., James Klopmeyer and Crystal Russum (John) of Panama City, Fla.; her brother, Trevor Meyer (Shirley) of Belleville, Ill.; her grandchildren, Damien, Kiersten, Jerod and Makenzie; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will begin at 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Bias officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until service time at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Janet's name may be made to the ladies auxiliary of the Parker VFW Post # 8205.

To my friend, there is so few people in this world you can call a friend, I will miss you. I will always remember our Cub Scouting Day camp days, lots of work but as the craft director I never worried. Thru thick or thin for more than 28 years your were a friend and this we were all blessed for it. To Gene and all the kids we love you & forever be in our prayers

Gene, Jimbo, Crystal, Todd - Jan was a very special lady. She always had a smile on her face and brightened up a room. Her kindness, patience, and understanding are just a few of her many outstanding characteristics. She will be missed. Love to all of you.

I WAS GRATEFUL TO HAVE KNOWN HER FOR A FEW YEARS AND SHE WAS FROM THE SAME PLACE I WAS BORN AND REARED BUT A DIFFERENT TOWN. SHE MADE ME FEEL WELCOMED AT THE VFW CHAPTER 8205. I WILL MISS HER ALOT BUT KMOWING HER WAS A GOD SENT SINCE I MOVED HER IN PANAMA CITY AND MET HER AT THE VFW IN 05 OR 06. I JOINED THE LADIES AUX..

What a great neighbor she was; her smile and sunny disposition, her love of plants and animals, and her utter love and devotion to all things involved with her family. We sure did luck out when she moved into the neighborhood.

Jim, Todd, Crystal, Gene...
Mom will always be in my heart... Her smile, her warmth, her love... For those four years, I lived in PC, she endured our high school/college shenanigans and drama with respect and understanding... For over 30 years I knew that I would be welcomed into her home... I always made it a point to visit if I was in PC. She will be missed...
You all are in my thoughts, I wish I could be there during this difficult time... I am there in spirit... Take care...
