Elizabeth Schiccatano Obituary
She was born July 17, 1925, in Coal Township, a daughter of the late John and Pauline (Dombroski) Stark.
She was an active member of the former St. Edward's Church, now Mother Cabrini Parish. Most important to Betty were God and family. She was a devout and loving mother and grandmother, and was happiest when she was enjoying time with her family. She was an avid collector of angels. When visiting her home, you would find yourself surrounded by angels.
Betty made friends easily, and was gracious even in her final days. Now there is another angel in heaven.
She will be sadly missed by her loving family, which includes four sons and their wives, Les and Margie, of Paxinos, Sam and Kathy, of Coal Township, Rich and Thea, of Paxinos, and Randy and Kim, of Wilmington, Del.; 11 grandchildren, Matt, Jason, Lesley, Sammy, Nathan, Kaitlyn, Richie, Courtney, Elise, Randall and Miranda; four great-grandchildren, Samantha, Matthew, Roman and Quinn; two sisters, Lorraine Greager, of Coal Township, and her twin, Barbara Cillo, of Shamokin, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Alma McAnnaney, Clara Switzer and Rose Duzick.

SCHICCATANO — Elizabeth "Betty" Schiccatano, 88, of 320 S. Shamokin St., Shamokin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Mother Cabrini Church, Shamokin. Mausoleum entombment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Bear Gap. Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday with a Christian wake service at 7 p.m., and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Stephen A. Chowka Funeral Home, 114 N. Shamokin St., Shamokin.

I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. She was a lovely lady that I had the pleasure of knowing. She will be missed but know she lives on in all of you.
