Brittani Nicole Oliver

1986 - 2016

Brittani Nicole Oliver, 30, of Fairbanks, died at 7:41 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 28, 2016, at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. She was born April 7, 1986, in Okinawa, Japan, to Vernell Oscar Oliver and Cynnde Ann Ordway.
Loving surviving family members include: Her son, Skylar Alexander Malyk; stepfather, Gary Brock, of Fairbanks; sister Pagan and husband, Alex, nephew Ryder, niece Reign Sliveira, of Reno, Nevada; uncles Gaylen, Sun Hee and Parker, of Tampa, Florida; Greg, Tammy and Jenna, of Dover; and aunt Tammy, Brian and Marissa, grandparents Gaylen and Shirley Ordway, all of Colorado Springs.
Brittani, as a military brat, was fortunate enough to travel after being born in Okinawa. She lived in various places - Virginia, Colorado, Nevada, Texas, Hawaii and Alaska, however, her ultimate landing spot was to be with her son, Skylar, and to live on the beach in Hawaii. After a year delay, she graduated from Star of the North High School in 2005.
Brittani always found some sort of adventure anywhere she was. She loved the outdoors and especially the sunshine and the beach. Her artistic talents, to her family and friends, were remarkable and unique. Her spirituality was compelling, motivational, thought-provoking and contagious. She had a love of life beyond compare, finding great happiness and optimism in the simplest things in life.
There will be a celebration of life from 5 to 7 p.m. today, Dec. 2, in the Palace Theatre in Pioneer Park. Please join family and friends. In lieu of flowers a "gofundme" site has been set up: www.gofundme.com/brittanis-final-resting-fund.
