To the family of Bob Wygal: After Bob returned from Korea to Hinton, W.Va., he volunteered as scoutmaster of Troop 100, of which I was a member. Bob took about a dozen of us boys camping and hiking in the woods many times and taught us numerous outdoor skills. We greatly respected him and appreciated his generosity to us. He was a great man. -Gene Sentz, Choteau, Montana 59422-0763

I remember Bob very well. He was a great Scout Master and a great man. I still ofter think of our camping trip down to near Sandstone Falls on the other side of New River from Hinton. It was raining when we left but we finally arrived, set up camp and tried to fix supper. Then it POURED rain all night. We were soaked to the skin. Some of the boys got scared and Bob left in the middle of the night to take them home. The road was now very muddy and his Hudson slipped into a ditch on the way back to Hinton. Naturally, most of our food was in the trunk of the car to keep it dry. For breakfast we did have some bread, jelly and canned meats. Ever open a can of food with a Scout ax. It can be done. Bob showed up some time later with help to get us all back to the church. We were all tired, wet and miserable but we learned what the meaning of the Scout motto, BE PREPARED, meant in one day. We learned to trench our tents, put an additional shelter over them and to pace a few easily consumed foods when we wenmt on a trip. We all, especially members of Troop 100, owe who we are today, to Bob Wygal. I was one whose father had left mom and 3 kids. Bob always let us know he was there for us . There was not a problem we could not discuss with Bob and he always kept it in his confidence.

Dear Jennifer,
I was so sad to hear about your father. When I think of him, the first word that comes to mind is faithful...faithful to God, faithful to his family, and faithful to his church and community. I know that you will miss your Daddy as much as I miss mine. Although they are physically absent from our lives, their love and presence can be felt each and every day. Love truly is eternal.
Sending you and your brothers my heartfelt condolences and prayers for your strength and comfort.

Bob was such a wonderful man, I see his work all around our home from the speaker stands he made for me to the wind chimes. I missed the YooHoo drinks he brought for HomeComing! Clinton and Bob enjoyed working on projects together. They seemed to always find a way to fix the problem. We will miss Bob much. We do find joy in knowing he is with God. We are here to help. We are praying for you.

My deepest sympathy goes to the family and friends of Bob Wygal. He was a loving and good man. The world has lost a true servant of those who were suffering. He was a man of action and not of words. He was always a good neighbor ready to help. I will miss him but will always remember his goodness, his service to others, and his loyalty to friends and family. Rest in peace, Bob.

We were shocked to hear about your Fathers death tonight. He affected many lives during his life and and mentored more people than can be counted. But-he's now with God and Jean! What could be any better than that for him?
We've known Bob & Jean since 1965. He & Glenwood worked together till retirement and Glenwood can tell you many funny stories from those years (funny now but maybe not as much then.)
:-).
His Christianity was shown from the way he lived and helped others. You can be very proud of your Dad's life. Now all of you must go on with your lives and live it to the fullest to make God and your parents very proud. We admired your parents (especially Bob since Glenwood worked with him) as we did our own. Our children respected Bob and had him on his own pedistal.
God bless all of you as you raise your families. You are the next generation in the "Bob Wygal Family". Make everyone proud!
Call on us if you need to. Your Dad would have helped our children, and anyone else, if they needed it.
God Bless All Of You As You Move Forward With Your Lives!
Glenwood & Gail Pleasant
