Connie Bunn Obituary

April 7th, 1928-April 12th, 2004
Connie Mack Bunn, 76, of 124 E. Horton St., died at Wake Medical Center Monday following a brief illness.
Funeral service 4 PM Thursday Zebulon United Methodist Church. Burial, Zebulon Cemetery.
Connie retired from the NC Department of Social Services after 30 years service. He also retired from the NC National Guard with 30 years service. He was the son of the late William and Thelma Hinton Bunn. He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by his brothers Duke Bunn and Norris Bunn.
Mr. Bunn leaves his devoted wife of 48 years, Sue Alford Bunn; son, Mike and daughter-in-law, Shannon of Zebulon; brother, Billy Hugh Bunn of Oxford and sister-in-law, Louise Bunn (Duke) of Raleigh. He leaves many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to the many friends and loved ones who so lovingly stood by the Bunn family during Connie's hospital stay, especially to the caring doctors and nurses at WakeMed.
The family will receive friends Wednesday 6:30-8 PM at Massey Funeral Home; other times at the home of Mike and Shannon Bunn, 33 Wake Co. Line Rd., Zebulon.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Zebulon Rescue Squad, PO Box 175, Zebulon, NC 27597 or to Zebulon United Methodist Church, 121 W. Gannon Ave., Zebulon, NC 27597.
