LeAnn, Brandon, Misty, Holly & Family,

We are so sorry to hear of Henry's death. Although I haven't seen him since I left Wake County, I have often thought with great admiration and pleasure of those wonderful years we spent working together. He was one of those truly gracious individuals who made life so much more pleasant for everyone around him. I never knew anyone who had as many friends or who deserved them more. Henry will be sorely missed.

May each of you find strength in your faith, comfort in God's love and peace in knowing that your friends are praying for you.

You have our heartfelt sympathy,

Ronnie and Shirley Drake

Those in the electrical community who knew Henry Jenkins can testify that his passing has left a hole among us that will not soon be filled. Henry's knowlege of the trade was unsurpassed, and his many years of dedication to the Wake County Inspections Department are a testament to the commitment he made to ensure our homes and businesses are as safe as possible. I first met Henry about six years ago when I joined the Education Committee for the NC Ellis Cannady Chapter of the IAEI, but I knew his reputation as a well informed electrical inspector and instructor long before I actually met him. He will be missed.

I grew up with Henry, our family lived just across the road from the Jenkins family while Henry and I attended Jones Central High School, Henry and I were both born in July of 1950, so we had a lot in commond, although I have not seen Henry in many years I always respected Henry and remember how nice it was to be around someone as pleasant and funny as Henry. Unlike most highschool sutdents I never once heard Henry have a bad word for anyone. I only regret not staying in touch with Henry, my prayers are with Henry's family.

I am sorry to hear of Henry's passing. I will always remember the times we got to walk to work together very early in the morning. I will always cherish the times he was willing to share his thoughts and opinions with me about family, religion, NASCAR, and his truck. He had such a great sense of humor and a laugh I will always remember.
My sympathies are extended to the family during this difficult time. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Henry you have taught us so much about love. Your love for God, your love for Leann and the rest of the family, your love for your friends and even your love for those who didn't love you back. You lived your life with an open heart showing that love is limitless and for all to share. We only had 5 years to experience life with you but those were the best years of our family's life. Your love of Leann has been a joy to watch by all who know you and know so well that the two of you are soul mates that met later in life. God brought the two of you together at just the right time. Thank you for wanting and choosing to be a part of our family. These five years seeing you two both come out of painful times to having five years of of Wedded Bliss Blessed by God and supported by family will be treasured for eternity. We love you Henry and will follow your example of loving the way God has taught you and through you continues to teach others how to love God's way. We Love You.
