Greenville, Maine - Ann Theresa Douglas, 61, passed away on June 24, 2017. She was born January 22, 1956, in Nashua, NH, the daughter of Jules A. and Catherine (Williams) Bilodeau. Ann married David Charles Douglas in 1975 in NH and attended technical college there. In 1978 they moved their young family to Goleta, California to be closer to her parents and siblings. There she started her very successful career working at Applied Magnetics and, subsequently, Reson while earning her Associate Degree and raising her two sons Andrew and Steven. More recently, Ann and David relocated to Austin, TX where Ann served as VP of Operations at R2Sonic. Ann was an extremely talented and dynamic business woman who forged great relationships with her coworkers, creating lifelong friendships that gave her great joy and were a cherished part of her life. She filled each and every day with creativity. She loved to paint and knit, and graced family and friends with beloved treasures of her arts filled with spirit and joy. Ann bravely fought the greatest battle of her life against ovarian cancer for two years, with her husband David by her side every minute and surrounded by the support and love of her adoring family and friends.
Ann and David's lifelong dream was to return to the Northeast to be near family and enjoy God's beautiful and serene countryside there. And so, God brought them to Maine only last month. Ann passed into the loving arms of Our Lord on June 24th to join her father, Jules Arthur Bilodeau, and brother, John Patrick Bilodeau. Safely now in the arms of her heavenly family, she will be so missed by those of us left behind. Her love and kind spirit will live on in our hearts always.
Ann is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, David Douglas; two sons, Andrew and Steven Douglas; two grandchildren, Valerie and Alarik Douglas; mother, Catherine Bilodeau; brother, Steven Bilodeau and his wife, Leslie; sister, Joan Xanthakis and her husband, John; sister-in-law, Lisa Bilodeau; nephews, Peter, John, and Noah Bilodeau, Steven Bilodeau and his wife, Maggie; and nieces, Kiersten Bilodeau, Sarah and Anna Xanthakis, Joanna, Leah, Grace and Emma Bilodeau, Carolyn Goetz and her husband, Patrick, and their children, Stella, Ronan, and Brody.

May the God of all comfort continue to give the family the strength you need to cope during this hard time. May you continue to cherish the memories that you shared and be surrounded with peace and love. May you find solace in the words found at Isaiah 61:1:1,2.
