Hannah "Tootsie" E. Meyer, 94, of Ladd, passed away January 4, 2022 in JPO Retirement Home in Dalzell.
Private funeral services were held in the Hurst Funeral Home in Ladd with Rev. Scott Potthoff officiating. Burial was in Valley Memorial Park in Spring Valley.
Tootsie was born in Spring Valley on August 15, 1927 to Albert and Hannah Nancy (Owen) Humpage. She married Elmer C. Meyer on August 18, 1945. She worked at Westclox and retired from Harper Wyman in Princeton.
Tootsie enjoyed playing bingo and talking to everyone.
She is survived by one daughter Nancy (Jack) Weberski of La Salle and one son Jim Meyer of Princeton; seven grandchildren, Jack (Jennifer) Weberski of Walnut Creek, CA, Stacy (Chad) Timmons of Colorado, Jill (Curtis) Parsons of Rushville, IL, Julie (Ted) Fusco of Elmhurst, Larry Meyer of Jacksonville, IL, David (Margaret) Meyer of Edinburg, IL and Adam Meyer of Graymont, IL; fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; one sister Mae Piacenti of Ladd.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer on April 24, 2009, a daughter-in-law Anna Meyer, two brothers, Albert and Jack Humpage.
