Nancy Jean (Urbanski) Herron, 82, of rural Peru, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at the Ottawa Pavilion.
According to her wishes, no services will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to the Mueller-Pagani Funeral Home, LaSalle.
Mrs. Herron was born September 30, 1939 in LaSalle to John and Tarsella (Castagna) Urbanski. She married Thomas Jack Herron on October 10, 1986 in LaSalle.
Mrs. Herron worked as the office manager at M&M News Agency for 25 years. She enjoyed reading, entertaining, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her dog, Tinkerbell.
Survivors include her husband, T. Jack; seven children, Randy (Michelle) Freschi of Peru; Michele (Jon) Vasquez of Canyon Lake, CA, Mark (Kelly) Freschi of Oglesby, Tom (Nancy) Herron of Joliet, Laura (Kim) Mini of Dalzell, Cindy (Greg) Bacidore of LaSalle and Jeff (Mary) Herron of Peru; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and her brother, Mike (Jackie) Urbanski of Hot Springs, AR.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Illinois Valley Animal Rescue.
