Nancy J. Miller, 67, of Tonica, passed away peacefully in her home on March 31, 2023 surrounded by her family.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 AM Wednesday April 5th at Sacred Heart Church in Granville with Rev. Patrick Demeulemeester officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Tonica. Visitation will be 5 to 8:00 PM Tuesday in the Hurst Funeral Home in Tonica. Additional visitation will be in the church on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until time of services. Per Nancy's wishes casual clothing is preferred.
Nancy was born in Spring Valley on November 9, 1955 to Delmo and Mary (Brennan) Gualandi. She married Marvin Miller on November 29, 1975. She worked at Tonica Grade School, Tonica Post Office and farmed with husband Marvin.
She enjoyed painting, cross stitching, her flower garden, taking care of her birds and riding in the semi with Marvin. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and sang in the choir.
Nancy is survived by her husband Marvin; one son, Albert (Jen) Miller of Mark; one granddaughter Molly Miller; four siblings, Marjorie (Jim) Pelszynski of Shorewood, Tom (Reginia) Gualandi of Waltham, Dan Gualandi of Peru and Cindy Cohrs of Wisconsin; two in laws, Ben (Ann) Miller of Spring Valley and Marion (Ann) Miller of Leonore; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers will be Albert Miller, Jeff Bassett, Justin Boers, Darrin Miller, Adam Miller and Jeff "Moke" Olson.
