PIERCE, KATHERINE (TRICKETT) Katherine (Trickett) Pierce, 66, of East Haven, passed away July 8, 2016 at home. She was born March 26, 1950 in New Haven to Stanley and Katherine (Roche) Trickett. Katherine is survived by her loving husband of 12 years, Kenneth Pierce and her daughter, Dolly Romprey (Pete) of New Haven, his sons, Jason Pierce of East Haven and Daniel Pierce of Indiana. Katherine is also survived by three grandchildren, Rebecca Romprey, Victoria Romprey and Khloe Pierce along with two nieces, Michelle Golino of Florida and Jacqueline Sargent of East Haven. Katherine is preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Zoey Pierce and brother, James Trickett. Kathy had loyal friends and loved her family fiercely especially all of her granddaughters. She lived loudly. Enjoyed her games and loved her animals. She was the type of person who not only made you laugh but made you think. She was a fun loving and caring person that will be forever missed by those who knew and loved her. We were all lucky to have her in our lives and the hole created by her absence will never be filled. Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 PM on Monday, July 11, 2016 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, (Clancy Funeral Home) 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Funeral procession will leave Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 12 at 9:40 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Clare Catholic Church, 234 Coe Ave., East Haven with Committal to follow at East Lawn Cemetery.
