Sandyston Twp., NJ - Donna Marie Ross (Van Tassel), 68 years old, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, July 15, 2021. Born in Franklin, NJ, she had lived in Franklin before moving to Sandyston Twp., NJ in 1988.
Donna owned and operated Scissor Talk Salon in Franklin, NJ and Ultimate Hair in Montague, NJ for many years before retiring in 2016. She had received her Certified Nursing Assistant qualifications and was best remembered as always being the one to turn to for health care issues. She was a caretaker for many over the years and most of all was a doting grandmother.
Donna is the beloved wife for 50 years of Edward Ross of Sandyston Twp., NJ. Devoted mother of Christina Barger and her husband, Thomas of Ogdensburg, NJ and Shane Ross and his wife, Michelle of Franklin, NJ. Loving grandmother of Casey, Erik, Tommy, Aidyn and Maddie. Dear sister of William Van Tassel of Sandyston Twp., NJ and Karen Segar of PA.
Private cremation services under the direction of F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ. A Celebration of Donna's Life will be held on Saturday July 24th, 1-4PM at the Franklin American Legion Post 132, 1 Legion Place, Franklin, NJ 07416.
