Maude Abbott Obituary

Maude W. Abbott, 92, passed away Monday, March 17, 2008, at St. Joseph's Place, Port Jervis, N.Y. She was born May 26, 1915 in Hackensack, the daughter of the late Frank Campbell and Edith Banta Campbell. She was married to the late James Abbott, Jr. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Frank and James Campbell. She is survived by a son, James Abbott III and his wife, Mary, of Wantage; a daughter, Edith Link and her husband, Frank, of Dahlonega, Ga.; her brother Dolph Campbell of La Hoya, Calif., a sister Helen Petrovitz of Viroqua, Wis.; five grandchildren, Jessica, Sarah, James, Jennifer and Andrew; two great-granddaughters, Lindsey and Ashley; and several nieces. Private Graveside services will be held at Clove Cemetery, Sussex. The Rev. Robert Mayer will officiate. Arrangements are by the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 East Main Street, Port Jervis.
