Mildred Brady Obituary

MONROE, N.Y. -- Mildred I. "Millie" (Little) Brady, 61, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, at Westchester County Medical Center in Valhalla, N.Y.

Mrs. Brady, daughter of Geraldine (Lescheck) Little and the late LeRoy Little was born in Franklin Oct. 29, 1955. She grew up and had resided for many years in Beemerville. She later lived in areas of Orange County, N.Y., and in Monroe, N.Y., for the last 10 years.

Mrs. Brady worked at the former Wallkill Valley General Hospital (Saint Clare's) in Sussex, Rockland Mobile Care in Chestnut Ridge, N.Y., and at St. Anthony's Community Hospital in Warwick, N.Y. She was an EMT for the Pine Island Volunteer Ambulance Corps in Pine Island, N.Y. as well.

Mrs. Brady enjoyed camping, casinos, cruises and concerts. She loved and cherished her nieces and nephews as well as her dog and cats.

She was predeceased by her husband, Daniel J. Brady (2014), father, LeRoy Little (2010), sister, LuAnn Yetter (1988) and a nephew, Glen Yetter (1982). Mrs. Brady is survived by her mother, Geraldine Little, of Wantage; brothers, Roy Little and his wife, Audrey of Wantage, Jim Little and his wife, Karen, of Sparrowbush, N.Y. and Mike Little and his wife, Kelly, of Branchville; sister-in-law, Nancy Scott and her husband, Robert, of Florida, N.Y.; many nieces and nephews and eight grandnieces and grandnephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 25, at 11 a.m., at Ferguson Funeral Home 27 Third St. Sussex. Interment will follow at Beemerville Cemetery, Wantage. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, Feb 26, 9-11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Monroe Fire Dept. 406 North Main St. Monroe, N.Y. 10950 or Monroe Volunteer Ambulance Corps 100 Ramapo St. Monroe, N.Y. 10950 or Westchester County Medical Center Attn: Burn Center 100 Woods Rd.
