MCCORMICK
Nelson R. 'Mike' devoted husband of the late Lillian B. (Egan) McCormick, proud and loving father of Lisa L. McCormick passed away on May 13, 2013 at age 85 at St. Elizabeth Hospice. He is survived by sisters: Dorothy (William) Chapman, Jean (Gene) Young, Mary (Bracey) Majors, and brothers: Ernest and James McCormick; preceded in death by sisters Frances (George) Mardis and Joyce (Cecil) Florence and brother, David. He was an uncle and great-uncle to numerous nieces and nephews; a helpful friend and neighbor. He was a native of Union, Kentucky. A retired iron worker, he was a lifelong member of Iron Workers Local # 44. In retirement, he loved to garden. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a donation to St. Elizabeth Hospice or the Kenton County SPCA. Visitation Sunday May 19, 2013 from 2 - 4 pm at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Newport, Kentucky. Burial Monday May 20, 2013 at 11 am Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill, Kentucky
