Guy King Obituary
June 26, 1945 - May 6, 2025
Guy was born to Burton and Mary King on June 26, 1945, three months before the end of World War Il in a busy Marine Hospital in Staten Island, NY.
Guy grew up in the suburbs of Chicago as an only child. After graduating from Bradly University in Illinois, Guy was drafted to the Vietnam War where he proudly served as a Platoon Sergeant. After the war, Guy moved to Arizona to join his father's produce brokerage. This led to a 40-year reputable career in the fresh produce industry.
He was endeared as a sports enthusiast, expert marksman, marathon runner, devoted father, grandfather, husband, uncle, cousin and friend.
He passed peacefully in his home of 30 years in Carmen, AZ on May 6, 2025 at the age of 79 with his family by his side.
Guy is preceded in death by his father, Burton King and mother, Mary King. He is survived by the mother of his five children, Sharon King - Carballo; his five children, James, David, Bryan, Jennifer, and Taylor; his nine grandchildren, Justin, Jacob, Jonathan, Anastasia, Carter, Chase, Selah, Cara, Shemari; and two great grandchildren, Joseph and Milo.
Guy will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A celebration of life in Guy's memory will be held on June 7th in Tubac, AZ.

WE WERE FORTUNATE TO HAVE GUY BE ABLE TO TAKE CARE OF OUR DOGS, MOLLY & TOBY, WHEN WE WENT ON VACATION. THEY LOVED HIM! WE NEVER WORRIED ABOUT THE DOGS WHILE WE WERE GONE. GUY WAS A VERY CARING SOUL AND WILL BE MISSED. SO SAD TO HEAR OF HIS PASSING.
