George Eddington Obituary

George Roland Eddington Jr. passed away on Friday December 6, 2013 at Tulane Universty Hospital. Son of the late George R. and Isabella C. Eddington Sr., brother of Russell (Sherry) Eddington, (late Melvin) Clara Eddington, (late Gerald Eddington), Geraldine (late Melvin) Rivers, Father of the (late George R.) Edith Eddington III, Marlene (Alvin Murry) Nash, Darrell (Sabrina) Eddington, Phyllis (Milton) Trotter, (late Melvin Eddington), Melvina Eddington, Ronald (Nannetta) Eddington, Donald (Bridgett) Eddington, Nadine (Lawrence) Raymond, Peter (Betty) Eddington, Wilfred (Deidra) Eddington, (late Curtis Eddington), also survived by Alcides Cross, four stepsons, a host of grand, great-grand, great great-grand children, neices, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, employees of Ferncrest Manor, East Jefferson Hospital, Griffin and Butler Construction Co., West Jefferson Hospital, New Orleans Police Dept., Heritage Labs, Sanderson Farms and First Capital Bank are invited to attend the funeral service on Friday, December 13, 2013 at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1625 Annette Street for 10:00 am. Pastor Warren Lattimore, officiating, Visitation 9:00a.m. until hour of services. Entombment Mount Olivet Mausoleum Cemetery. Rev. David M. Patin Sr. and Gwiena Magee Patin, Directors.
