In loving memory of Gertrude Powell. We love you and miss you. It was so nice of Mrs. Gertrude to remember me when Curtis and l visited her. I enjoyed visiting Mrs. Gertrude and she was happy to see Curtis and l. Although Curtis and Mrs. Gertrude have passed away , l will always remember the happy memories. May you rest in peace. Rest in the arms of Jesus Christ who is our Lord and savior always and forever. In the celebration of His birth we are making a joyful noise unto the Lord. Mama and l will always remember Mrs. Gertrude and family. Rest in peace. Sing in your Heavenly choir. I remember that you sang in the church choir. To your family Jesus Christ is the reason for the season. Amen. From Pearl Williams and Barbara Williams of Garyville , Louisiana.

I will truly miss you my beautiful grandmother! You were and still are the rock of our wonderful family. I will always remember Grandma how you would tell us you want to hear me sing a song and we would say yes. One of your favorite songs to sing was "Your Grace and Mercy". Awwwwwww Grandma, you would also say "Let us pray". You never wanted to hear anything negative. I LOVE YOU Grandma!!!!
Love,
your Granddaughter (Trika), grandson - in - law (Reginald), and great grandchild (Reginald Jr.)

Cousin Rose and Mona and family,
I'm praying for your strength. You know that your loss is heavens gain.
Quoting my cousin, in all of our conversations, she would say, "It ain't my fault" and "Grace and mercy". I will miss all of our long conversations over the phone and the sound of her voice. Her last wish to me was putting together the family tree. Her earthly presence will be truly missed.
Love you my cousins,
Levernia McCree
