HOWARD Hazel Rita Ferdinand Howard departed this life at West Jefferson Medical Center on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 4:30a.m. Mother of Edward J. (Linda) Howard, III, Teddy J. (Margeret) Howard, Calvin J. Howard, Sr., Rene A. Howard, Keith J. (Yolanda) Howard, Sr., Pamela M. Howard-(Robert) Baldwin, and the late Patricia A. Howard. Daughter of the late Saulton Ferdinand, Sr. and Naomi Ferdinand. Sister of Rose Daigs of Marrero, La., Marie Demery and Lois Delahouse both of Ca , Marion Pierce of Gretna, La., and the late Joyce Ann Carter, Dorothy Sims, Josephine Anthony, Shirley Lee, and Saulton Ferdinand, Jr., also survived by 24 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 83 years a native and resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also priest and parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church 455 Ames Blvd. Marrero, La. on Monday, November 5, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
