To the Massett Family

With deepest sympathies from the Ceravola Family. Louis was a great man, a loved man by many. A devoted father and friend to all of us. I had the privilege to have known Louis for over 16 years as he was once a father In law to be for me. We have had many of laughs and I will cherish those smiles. He was a Great Paw-Paw and my daughter had an unforgettable love for him and will always carry the times he would rub her ear, take her to school and have Po-boys with. I know she will always love him and remember these times. He will be missed and talked about on a daily basis. Thank you Louis for all that you have done for everyone and I will always remember our conversations as well.

Louis represented GOOD in every sense of the word! He was a friend, fellow volunteer and worker. He was a confidant and a source of calm in almost every situation since I met him during the first "LazFest" in 1995. Project Lazarus would not exist today if it were not for him! People like Louis don't come along often. God now has a new "Right Hand" to do His work!

Karen,
I am so very saddened by this news. I know your pain. I will always remember him as a kind soul. You and he were both so very kind to me when many others were not...and so patient with Larry. [I believe there is a special place in Heaven for those who dealt with Larry at Mardi Gras time and Louis is definitely in that number!]
My thoughts are with you...
