Sharon Ann Kirk

Sharon Ann Kirk went home to rest in heaven on January 22, 2018. She was born on November 5, 1965 in Havre de Grace, Maryland and was cherished by her family and many friends. Sharon is survived by her parents, Ruth Ann Kirk and Robert James Kirk; her brother, Randall Keith Kirk; her son, Richard Peter Clasen III and her nephew, Christopher James Kirk. Sharon will be missed for her wonderful heart and beautiful smile. Beloved by all, Sharon touched hundreds throughout her life in her career and ministry. She loved her family and friends, and her faith in Christ was her biggest passion and was shown throughout every aspect of her life. Sharon was an Administrative Specialist with SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic- New Orleans office and an active member of John Calvin Presbyterian Church. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service celebrating Sharon's life at Metairie Baptist Church, 401 Codifer Boulevard Metairie, Louisiana on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. Visitation with the family will begin at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to John Calvin Presbyterian Church, 4201 Transcontinental Drive, Metairie, Louisiana 70006 or to Metairie Baptist Church, 401 Codifer Boulevard, Metairie, Louisiana 70005.
