Anthony Gaeta Obituary
Born in Paterson, Mr. Gaeta lived there for most of his life and then in Totowa from 1951 to 1979 before moving to Montville. He worked for Gaeta Trucking from 1939 to 1951 and then was the owner and president of Gaeta Service from 1951 to 1973. Subsequently, he was the president of Gaeta Recycling from 1973 to his retirement in 1996. And, he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Arrangements were by the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, Totowa.
Mr. Gaeta also is survived by his son, Anthony of Franklin Lakes; his other daughter, Donna Hart of Montville; his sister, Kay Russo; his grandchildren, Dawn Portannese and John Hart; and his great-grandson, Michael Portannese.
He was predeceased by his wife, the former Dollie Mae Elliott; and his sisters, Edith Acquafredda and Antoinette George.
