Anthony Meehan Obituary
MEEHAN Anthony "Tony," 44, on August 16, 2011, of Morris Plains, NJ, formerly of River Edge, NJ. Survived by his beloved wife, Samantha (nee Fox) and loving children Amanda, Anthony, Jocelyn and Aidan. Devoted son of Hon. William Meehan and Lois Meehan. Dear brother of Alice, Billy (Andrea) and J.T. Meehan and devoted uncle to Caitlyn. Anthony will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends with whom he enjoyed so many great times. Anthony was a graduate of River Dell High School in Oradell and attended St. Bonaventure University. He owned his own air conditioning company, Air- Life Sciences. Quick to a joke and with a disarming smile, Anthony engaged us all. A generous and kind soul, he loved his children and the time he spent with family. We remember Anthony as a voracious reader, winner of poetry writing contests and a lover of music. A life too short, but marked with so many great memories and laughs. Rest in Peace. The family will receive friends on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011 from 4-8 PM at Gutterman & Musicant Funeral Home, 402 Park Avenue, Hackensack, NJ. Funeral service on Friday, August 19, 2011 at 12 PM at Gutterman & Musicant Funeral Home with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions to St. Clare's Hospital c/o St. Clare's Foundation, 140 Diamond Spring Road, Denville, NJ 07834, or to Beit T'shuvah, 8831 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90034.
