Arpine Aynilian

AYNILIAN, Arpine, 98, of Fort Lee, NJ, formally of Tenafly, NJ, departed this life on February 10, 2018. Born in Lebanon and raised in Paris, France, she then immigrated with her family to New York City. While there, she completed her high school education, and pursued her love of music at Julliard School of Music while also taking classes at Columbia University.

She met and married her husband, the late Nerses Y. Aynilian in 1948, and together had four children who they raised in Tenafly, NJ. They were later blessed with 12 grandchildren and 5 great children.

Arpine was an active member of the Armenian Evangelical Church of New York and later the Armenian Presbyterian Church of Paramus, NJ. She worked tirelessly for many churches and organizations including the AMAA and AEUNA, as well as the Daughters of Vartan, and supported them throughout her long life.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her life on Tuesday, February 13th, 2018, at 10AM at the Armenian Presbyterian Church, 140 Forest Avenue, Paramus, NJ. Interment following to Brookside Cemetery in Englewood, NJ. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 12th, 2018 from 6:30-8:30PM at the church. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made in Arpine's memory may be made to the Armenian Presbyterian Church or the AMAA/Aynilian Endowment Fund.
