Barbara Pelosi Obituary
Passaic - Barbara C. (nee Surowitz) Pelosi, 76, of Passaic, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. Born in Passaic, Mrs. Pelosi was a lifelong resident. Before her retirement in 2005, Barbara was the proprietor of Barbara's Place, an upscale children's clothing store. Barbara's first store was located in Rutherford for 20 years before relocating to Church Street in Montclair for over ten years. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony R.C. Church in Passaic.
Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Stella (nee Kluk) Surowitz.
Survivors include: her beloved husband, William R. Pelosi; two brothers, Edward Surowitz and his wife, Denise and John Surowitz and his wife Elaine; nieces, Dana Alexiou and her husband George and great-niece, Ava; and great-nephews, Dean and James.
Visiting will be held Friday from 4 to 8 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. The funeral service will be Saturday morning 10:00 am at the funeral home. A private cremation will follow. Please visit www.bizub.com for driving directions and online condolences.
