Daniel LAHR Obituary
Daniel, MD., age 86, of Mahwah passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2014. Born in Seoul, Korea he immigrated to the United States and lived in Massachusetts, Hawaii and California before moving to Mahwah, New Jersey 45 years ago. Daniel was a Physician, Medical Director for American Cyanamid and President of The Lahr Consulting Group of Mahwah. He was a United States Army veteran in the Seventh Medical Battalion in the Seventh Infantry Division who served during the Korean Conflict. Surviving is his wife Erika (nee Boehme) Lahr of Mahwah, his sons, David S. and his wife Gisele of Monteplier, VT, Steven P. and his wife Wanda of Pittsburgh, Pennslyvania and Mark D. and his wife Irene of Mahwah, New Jersey. Also surviving are his six grandchildren, Erik, Jennifer, Ashley, Joshua, Damon and Nicholas and his brother, Sang Chin Lahr of Seoul, South Korea. A Service of Remembrance will be held at a later date and time. Arrangements by the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ 07481.

I know it´s been awhile but I wanted to express my heart felt condolences to the family. I had the opportunity to meet your dad years ago at my wedding.
My dad Ethan Pace and your dad met while serving during WW 2. They remained life long friends. Dad passed a year before n January 2013. Great people. May he Rest In Peace.
