Herbert GRUENER Obituary
Herbert H. 73 of Clifton died Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Born in Passaic. he was a lifelong Clifton resident. Herb was employed as electronics technician for ITT in Nutley prior to his retirement in 2015, Previously, he was employed by Henderson Industries and Radio Aircraft. Herb was a member of the Paramus Congregation of the New Apostolic Church where he served as a Deacon for over 50 years. He was an avid photographer and music lover. Herb is survived by a cousin, Gerald K. Gruener and wife, Katherine of Hackettstown, by second cousins, Joseph Gruener and wife, Jennifer Lynn of Hackettstown and John Gruener and wife, Jennifer Lynn of Belvidere and their families. Funeral services will be held Thursday evening 8PM at the New Apostolic Church, 53 Clifton Ave., Clifton, NJ 07011. Burial will be 11AM Friday at Cresthaven Memorial Park. Visiting hours are Thursday afternoon 2-4PM at Allwood Funeral Home, 660 Allwood Rd., Clifton, NJ 07012. allwoodfuneralhome.

Years ago when you worked in Boonton you picked me up for many church functions. If not for your kindness, I'm not sure I would still be active in church. I can picture you at the back door in heaven handing out books. :)
