Joe was admired, befriended, and loved by those who knew him. A great sense of humor and an outstanding cornerstone of the Duke `73 Class.

Joe lived across the street from me for many years. I will always remember how he helped my mother so much by shoveling snow.
Thank you Joe.

Joe was two years ahead of me at PHHS. I remember him being a great athlete, the President of his class, and a very caring person. I could tell way back then, that Joe would be successful in life. It is very sad to read about our classmates that have passed on way to soon. My deepest sympathies go out to the Bosch family. God bless the Bosch family, and God bless Joe in Heaven.

I am so sorry to hear of this loss. I served with Joe when he was on the church council at Good Shepherd Church. He was a great guy. I will be praying for comfort for all of the Bosch family during this time.

I have known Joe since elementary school, and he was the glue that kept our class together throughout our journey. He was known for reaching out to others offering a morning greeting or sharing his feelings on life and especially politics. He was quick-witted and brought a smile to all around him. My heart goes out to his family for their significant loss.

I am so saddened by the passing of Joe. Met Joe in high school. What a good friend he was to everybody. Remember many parties and going to all the track meets. So many more memories. The class of 69 lost a great leader and friend. I will never forget you. My prayers to all of the Bosch family.

I missed our 50th...for some surgeries. But in spite of missing it and not seeing Joe , my memories of him are not dimmed. I knew him from grade school thru high school. We shared many laughs and great times. He was in the end an amazing human being. We are all so very blessed to of known him. My regret in this life is that i did not get a chance to reconnect with him. Kind of a great reminder for all of us. Life is short....too short. Now Joe is looking down at all of us with a smile.....God Speed Joe

My heart goes out to the Bosch family. We always think we will have more time with a loved one. And then it isn't so. I will always remember Joe as a rare man. Even in high school he seemed more mature than many. He was a friend to everyone - made you feel special - and you know he meant it. He helped us rekindle old friendships and make new ones through our many school reunions. I am deeply saddened, but feel honored to have known him. Bless you Joe.

I first met Joe when he and Lacey visited my friend Barbara Grose’s home in Tupper Lake with their other dear friends Mike and Gloria. Joe was always so much fun and we all had many week-ends of laughs around the dinner table. I will always remember our dinner outing to the Thirsty Moose where we all imbibed a few shots of after dinner whisky at the bar. Sincere Condolences to the family. Rest In Peace Joe! You will be missed!! I hope that you and Lacey are having fun together.

My longest continuous friend, since 3rd grade at Roberge School in River Vale, NJ. Many adventures then and after. Joe was, along with Dave Mead (on left in photo, RIP Dave as well), the most successful athlete in the class of 1969 (both 2nd in state, wrestling and cross country, respectively), as well as President, a role he kept unofficially right through being the motivating force of the class 50th reunion in 2019. Always cheerful and engaged, we went long stretches of time periodically, texting each day. A very loyal friend, for 60 years and a true light in the world.

We reunited at our 35th reunion In 2004. We became best friends. He was instrumental in keeping the class of 69 together. There were numerous get togethers at his house. Great times that I will cherish always! Joe, Lynn and the girls came to see Gloria and I in Florida in March. He was facing a rough road ahead, but I had never seen him happier. He seemed to be at peace. I will miss him dearly!

In loving memory of a wonderful person. He was the president of our class at Pascack Hills High School, 1969. We gathered last October for the 50th reunion and Joe was with us then, and from the outpouring of love and great stories in the emails to classmates this week, it is obvious he will be with us forever.
