Lillian COHEN Obituary

COHEN
Lillian (nee Lipshitz), of Fair Lawn, formerly of Paterson, would have celebrated her 101st birthday on September 14, passed away peacefully on Tuesday night, August 26, 2014 at her home. Beloved wife of the late Morris Cohen. Devoted mother of Len Howard and his wife Therese of Henderson, NV, and the late Sandi Merel. Loving sister of Milton Lane of Fair Lawn, the late Jack Lipschitz and the late Marilyn Horowitz. Cherished grandmother of Ellen, Gary and Dylan (of blessed memory). Lillian is also survived by four cherished great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Lillian and her late husband were the owners of Broadway Wine & Liquors in Paterson and after her husband passed away, Lillian was employed by the City of Paterson in the Housing Authority Division. Lillian was a former member of Temple Emanuel in Paterson. Services will be 2:30 PM Friday, August 29, 2014, at Louis Suburban Chapel, 13-01 Broadway (Route 4 West), Fair Lawn, NJ. Burial will follow at Americus Cemetery, Midland Avenue, Saddle Brook, NJ. Memorial donations in memory of Lillian Cohen may be made to your own favorite charity.
