Lorraine HAYES Obituary
HAYES
Lorraine A. (nee Cauthen) age 86 of Wyckoff died Thursday, July 24, 2014. Born in Chicago, IL she lived in Wyckoff since 1965. Her husband of 59 years, Andrew John Hayes, predeceased her in 2010. Lorraine was an Executive Assistant for Merck-Medco Co, Montvale, NJ for 20 years before her retirement. Surviving are her daughters, Ellen Turner of Midland Park, Maureen Hayes of Little Canada, MN, Kathleen Balarin of San Francisco, CA and Mary Leavell-Edwards and her husband Ted of Warwick, NY. Also surviving are her ten grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, her sisters Betty Evans of Springfield, MA, Evelyn Scharfenberg of Chicago, IL and her brother, Jerry Cauthen of Chicago, IL. Private cremation was held. During the last weeks of her life Lorraine was lovingly cared for by her live-in companions: her grandaughter, Kelly, and Brenda Favazza. She will be sorely missed by her loving family. In lieu of flowers donations to the Emmanuel Cancer Foundation, 174 Paterson Ave. Midland Park, NJ 07432 would be appreciated.
