Richard was indeed one of a kind and an industry leader....He was always engaged in issues involving his business and the State of NJ. He was an asset and will be sorely missed by all of us here at the NJ Paint Council.

RICHARD WAS A FRIEND SINCE WE FIRST MET IN 1970. OUR OCCASSIONAL LUNCHES AND RIDGEFIELD MANUFACTURERS DINNER ALWAYS LEFT ME SMILING .FOR A WHILE I EVEN WORKED OUT WITH HIM AT HIS PRIVATE GYM.IT SADDENS ME TO NOT BE ABLE TO SIT WITH HIM WHEN I RETURN TO NEW JERSEY AT HOLIDAY TIME. MY SYMPATHY TO CAROLE MY SNOW MOBILE BUDDY,DANIEL AND ANDREA.

I am deeply saddened by the news and offer my condolences to the Labov family. He was a great mentor who enjoyed his work, family and life to the fullest. He was a great teacher and had a positive outlook on everything. Thank you for the opportunity to begin my career under your guidance. He will be missed by many including myself.
