Rosario LACANILAO Obituary

LACANILAO Rosario A. "Rose" (nee Angeles), 67, on Saturday, August 22, 2009 of Maywood, NJ formerly of Brooklyn, NY and Canada. Rose was born in the Philippines and has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and was a grade school teacher in Canada before moving to Maywood in 1976. She also worked for Quest Diagnostics in Teterboro, NJ for 27 years. Beloved wife of Bonifacio M. Lacanilao. Devoted mother of Hilda Perey, and her husband Resty, Roy Lacanilao, Grace Lacanilao and Kenneth Lacanilao. Dear sister of Irene Emmanuel, Angelita Arela, Lourdes De Los Santos, Leopoldo Angeles and Jose Angeles Jr.; loving grandmother of Brett Rivera, Brian Rivera, Brandon Perey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.Funeral from Trinka-Faustini Funeral Service, 439 Maywood Ave., Maywood on Thursday, August 27 at 9 AM. Final Prayers 9:30 AM at the funeral home. Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity RC Church, 34 Maple Ave., Hackensack at 10 AM. Burial to follow George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting Wednesday 3-5 and 7-9 PM.
