Thomas CURCIO Obituary
Thomas A., age 82, of Totowa at rest in Totowa on February 26, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Aida (nee Volpe) Curcio (1996). Loving father of Teresa Blumstein and her husband Howard of Millburn, Carmen Guzio and her husband William of Montville, Patricia Paglinco and her husband Guy of Denville, Aida Hegel and her husband Wallace of Tobyhanna, PA and Roberta Hensler. Dear brother of Frances Gilmartin of Wayne and the late Alfred and William Curcio. Loving grandfather of Emily and Alison Blumstein, Daniel and Tyler Guzio, Samantha, Anthony and Thomas Paglinco and Frankie, Anthony and Tiffany DiFiglia. He is survived by his step-grandchildren, Jessica Blumstein, Danielle Blumstein, Cara Monge and her husband Juan Monge and great-great-grandchildren Ava, Caroline, Drew and Sara. Thomas is also survived by his companion, Rita Malatesta. Born in New York, NY, he lived in Paterson, before moving to Totowa forty two years ago. He was a Self Employed Tailor for Thomas A. Curcio & Son Tailor, Paterson, before retiring. He was a member of the Totowa Italian American Club and the Elks Lodge in Wayne. He was also a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council # 6574, Totowa. He was a peacetime Army veteran. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Friday at 10 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 10:30 AM. Interment at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday 4-8 PM. For more information, go to www.festamemorial.com.
