Charles Boles Obituary

Elder Charles Henry Boles Sr., 73, of Winchester died Friday at Winchester Medical Center.

A celebration of life will be conducted Saturday at noon at Supreme Council of the House of Jacob by Elder Clarence Miller. Burial, with military honors by Winchester VFW 2123, will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park.

Mr. Boles was born Oct. 28, 1934, in Winchester, son of the late Leon Boles Sr. and Mildred Preston Boles. He attended Douglas High School and was a Marine Corps veteran. He was owner and operator of Charles H. Boles Construction for 40 years. He served as assistant pastor of the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob at the Front Royal Mission. He was a member of Sons of God and Senior Saints.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy L. Grimes Boles; a daughter, Deborah A. Mason of Winchester; two sons, Charles H. Boles Jr. and Tommy Grimes, both of Winchester; a sister, Lena Rose of Winchester; a brother, Leon Boles Jr. of Newark, N.J.; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Elders of the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. and the family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cartwright Funeral Home in Winchester.

Memorial contributions may be made to Jacob Dwelling Nursing Home, 25680 TR 39, Coshocton, Ohio 43812.
