Charles Robey Obituary
Mr. Robey was born August 24, 1933 in Great Falls, Virginia and raised in Dunn Loring, Virginia. Son of the late Felton and Annie Robey, he was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and Korea and a cartographer for the Department of Defense for 34 years. Mr. Robey had received the Lord as Savior in 1957 serving in several churches as deacon and teacher. He had been a member of Valley Bible Church since 1989 serving as Chairman of the Board for 7 years. Most recently, he was a member of The Church of the Valley in Strasburg, Virginia. Rex and his wife of 33 years, Katy, moved to South Carolina in 2007.
Surviving are his ever beautiful and loving wife, Katy Robey; three children, Cindy Soule of Aiken, South Carolina, Debbie Santora of Orlando, Florida, and Mark Robey of Edgewood, Maryland; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; four step-children, Dan Rogers, Tim Rogers, Linda Tredinnick, and Mary Abell; ten step grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Community Baptist Church, 643 South Suber Road, Greer, South Carolina.

I love you daddy. I miss you already. I am glad that you are free from cancer and your earthly body. It makes me smile to know that you are with our Savior. I look forward to the day when we will be together again. Thank you for loving, caring and protecting me always.

Rex we love you and thank your for being such a wonderful and loving Husband to Katy, Father-in-law to Tim, Father-in-law to me and grandfather to our three children Paul, Stuart and Tammy.
