Justin Daniel Williams, 23, of Verona, VA passed away on Friday, October 9, 2015 from a tragic and untimely death.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 17, at 12 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with a funeral service following at 1 p.m. conducted by Pastor Ron Combs. Burial will follow at Panorama Memorial Gardens.

Justin was born September 8, 1992 in Camp Lejune, NC, son of Patricia Williams Potter of Verona, VA and the late Daniel Lee Williams, Trooper II.

Justin worked in roofing construction for Valley Roofing in Harrisonburg, VA, and enjoyed being in the outdoors, hunting and fishing with friends and spending time with his family.

Surviving along with his mother is his step-father, Gene Potter; two sisters, Meagan Williams and Felecia Williams, both of Bridgewater, VA; paternal grandparents, Richard and Shirley Williams of Front Royal; maternal grand- parents, Geraldine Lewis Stevenson (and the late Stephen Lewis) of Front Royal; two step brothers, Jonathan Potter and his wife, Jessica, of Bowling Green, VA and Zachary Potter of Waynesboro, VA; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to the Justin D. Williams Memorial Fund, Wells Fargo Bank, please specify the name Meagan Dean when referring to this account.

Justin was born in Camp Lejeune, NC and he was the most content and precious sweet baby boy and child! He earned his High School Diploma in 2010 from The American School High School. He loved the outdoors so much, that when he was young even though his hands, feet and nose were so cold they felt like ice, he would beg not to be made to come inside. As a teen and young man Justin would continue to enjoy God's beautiful creation playing baseball, bicycling, dirt biking, skate boarding, snow boarding, kayaking, fishing, motorcycling, hunting, archery and even outdoor employment in the construction field. He also loved to sit around a peaceful campfire. Justin accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and was baptized at the age of nine. Because of his young age, as a teenager, he wanted to be sure his decision was genuine so he did it a second time to be sure of his salvation. We thank God for the peace this brings us knowing he is eternally with God the Father in heaven! He valued and cherished his friends and the time spent together with them. But more than anything else in this world, Justin sweetly loved and adored his family-each and everyone of us in his own very special way. His family will forever love and miss him until we once again see his sweet and handsome face in heaven. Thank you Lord for your mercy over Justin's and all our lives!
