Robert A. "Bob" Williams Jr.

1950 - 2023

Robert A. "Bob" Williams Jr., 72, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center in Winchester, Virginia.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 2 PM at Prospect Hill Cemetery, 200 West Prospect Street, Front Royal with Sammy Campbell officiating.

Bob was born on December 29, 1950 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to the late Robert A. Williams Sr. and Arlene Sheaffer Williams. He was a SEABEE in the United States Navy. He retired from Electronic Data Systems "EDS" and then started his own business, Syntax Communications. Bob was a selfless volunteer in and around Warren County and for the Warren County Public Schools. He was an Eagle Scout. He will always be remembered for his willingness to help others and his motto, "keep smiling".

Surviving along with his mother are his wife of 41 years, Susan Williams; son, Christopher Williams (Kristin) and sister, Jane Gay (Clarence).

Pallbearers will be Luis Macedo, Joe Lamb, Ric Bann, Harold Saunders, Clarence Gay, and Carl Hughey.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 6 PM to 7:30 PM at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 west Main Street, Front Royal.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Warren County, 1245 Progress Drive, Front Royal, Virginia 22630.
