Hannah Reece Obituary

Our precious daughter entered into the presence of the Lord Sunday morning, Aug. 10, 2014. Michelle was born Sept. 12, 1989, to Jim and Therese Reece in Pensacola, Fla. She was a lifetime resident of Fort Walton Beach, Fla. She graduated from Fort Walton Beach High School with honors, and later received her Associate's Degree from Northwest Florida State College, where she graduated cum laude.
Michelle loved spending time with people, from her co-workers at McGuire's, to her friends from high school, to treating her nieces to ice cream or a trip to the park. Michelle's smile and kind heart will be missed, but not forgotten.
Michelle was preceded in death by her granny and granddaddy, Helen and Clyde Reece; as well as her uncle, Mark Reece.
She is survived by her parents, Jim and Therese Reece of Fort Walton Beach; brother, Jeremy (April) of Jacksonville, Fla.; sister, Sarah (Jesse) of Hurlburt Field; four nieces, Jayruh, Angelina, Faith and Bailey; and nephew, Isaiah; maternal grandparents, Richard and Margarita Sands; uncles, Paul, Anthony and Jim; aunts, Martha, Christine, Sharon and Judy; cousins, Michelle, Sarah, Ryan, Michael, Rachel, Rebecca, Stephen, Christy, Cris and Kelly.
Visitation will be held at Emerald Coast Worship Centre behind Santa Rosa Mall in Fort Walton Beach on Saturday, Aug. 16, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., with a celebration of Michelle's life immediately following. Burial will follow in Beal Memorial Cemetery. Emerald Coast Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

I can't wait for eternity
Join the song they're already singing
Holy, holy, holy are You Lord (just to bow down)
Just to bow down before Your throne (see Your face)
See Your face, I cry out because You're holy
Holy, holy are You Lord

Standing with those who have heard "well done"
Proclaiming forever that You're the One
Who's faithful, faithful
Faithful are You Lord (oh)
What can we give You but endless praise
The heavens roar as we shout Your name is Jesus
Jesus, Jesus, You are Lord

Ten years ago you stepped into Glory! As it says in Scripture "To be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD!" And so our rejoicing in God's amazing grace continues, as we look forward to the day we join you in His presence! To God be the glory for all eternity!!!

Hey sis. Times like these can be very difficult for those who believe that life does not go on after death. But perhaps worse still, times like these can wreak havoc for those who have misunderstood the finished work of the cross. I know you're with Papa, not because you believed or did not believe. I know you're with Papa because He was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, not counting our sins against us. Just as the vicarious act of one man sold us all into slavery, so the vicarious act of One far greater freed us all. Ours is not a journey of gaining a status of a child by faith. Ours is a journey of growing in the Faith that if One died for ALL, then ALL have died. I do not question whether you're free, like I used to. I just wonder how much you've grown. How much you've explored. Just as Paul said, "When it pleased the Father to reveal Christ IN ME (not TO ME), I look forward to discovering the greater depths you've undoubtedly have had the pleasure of exploring all these years. I look forward to unpacking this mystery hidden for ages, which is Christ in us all, the hope of glory.

There's a peace I've come to know
Though my heart and flesh may fail
There's an anchor for my soul
I can say "It is well"

Jesus has overcome
And the grave is overwhelmed
The victory is won
He is risen from the dead

Celebrating your place in eternity because of God's amazing grace! Love you........Dad

Six years later we are rejoicing in the mercy and grace of God that ushered Michelle into His presence through the power of the Blood of Jesus and His Resurrection! God indeed fulfilled His word in Philippians 1: 6 that "having begun a good work in Michelle He finished it....." We look forward to the day that we see her before the throne of God and rejoice in the presence of our Heavenly Father for all eternity!!

Jim, Mike and I remember your kindness by your presence and prayers during the passing of our son five years ago. We are so very sad that you and your family will have to endure this kind of pain. We uplift you in prayer and ask God to bless you with His mercies each day. It is very true that our children are now with the Father who loves them beyond our own capabilities as their earthly parents. Peace be with you~

As much as we would love to hold you in our arms and tell you that we love you, we know that the One who now holds you in His arms loves you infinitely more than we ever could. We love you and miss you deeply, and long for the day that we see you again and celebrate God's love, grace, and mercy around His throne.
I love you with all my heart,
Dad
