Joseph Tyrell Obituary
Joey was born March 1, 1990, and was a lifelong resident of Okaloosa County.
He loved cooking and was a chef at several area restaurants. He was aspiring to be a sous-chef, he attended Emmanuel and Garden City Baptist Church.
He was a graduate of Niceville High School, class of 2010, an avid musician and enjoyed making people happy. He formed the Acroanatium Group with Chris Clark, he was a member of Bass Family group (Peace, love, unity and respect).
Survivors are his parents, Cyndiee Turnage and Joseph Tyrell Jr.; six siblings, Chasity Owens (Daniel) and their children, Aiden and Marilyn, Ashley Fish, Samantha Turnage, Joshua Turnage, Kate Tyrell Dickens and Jesse Tyrell; girlfriend Chelsea Edwards; grandparents, Linda Pratt and Marilyn McCrate; extended family, Dale and Irma Turnage, K.C. Trammel and Billy Hill; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and infinite friends.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, April 29, at the New Beginning Church. Burial will follow in the Old Bethel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 7 p.m., Sunday, at Brackney Funeral Service.
