Pam Hastings Obituary
Pam was an awesome daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, neighbor and friend. She was easily the least selfish person possible and a truly awesome individual.
Pam was the best wife and friend a husband could have. Mike and Pam met while attending high school in Fox Lake. They were married May 13, 1978, and in love since.
Pam is survived by her mother, Lillian Kazlausky; siblings Fritz and Bunny Kazlausky, Carol (Kazlausky) Meyer, Dave and Sandra (Kazlausky) Kruger and Dick and Jan Kazlausky. She loved them all very much and especially enjoyed spending the holidays with them.
Pam had a very close and special relationship with her children, Christopher Hastings, Matthew Weger and Jamie (Hastings) Weger, Ryan Hastings and Kate Gdowski. She was always in contact with them and frequently did thoughtful things for them.
Of all things, Pam loved being a grandmother the most. Her grandsons Mason and Chase Weger were the most important thing in her life. They made her smile around the clock. Matt and Jamie kept the pictures and videos coming and it turned out to be the most effective medicine of all.
The visitation and memorial service will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 16, at Park Place, 406 W. Woodstock St., Crystal Lake.
In lieu of flowers, it is Pam's wish that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

I was very sad to hear of Pams struggle and her passing. I remember many days standing on the soccer field and watching games with her. She was a good neighbor,a devoted woman to whatever she was doing.We were sorry when the family moved away. Our condolences.
