Patricia Boltz Obituary

HARVARD – Patricia C. Boltz, 78, of Harvard, died Saturday, July 9, 2011, at Hospice and Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois in Woodstock.
She was born July 6, 1933, in Hoopeston, to Eldon and Florence (Rutledge) Correll. She married Thomas J. Boltz on Jan. 3, 1953, in Chicago.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Harvard and was an avid reader. Her passion was the Harvard Food Pantry where she was site director for 18 years.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Thomas of Harvard; two sons, William A. (Kim) Boltz of Crystal Lake and Thomas P. Boltz; two grandchildren, Afton and Alexander; three sisters, Mary Ellen Racek of Denver, Vicki (Rodney) Jackson and Debbie (Terry) McBride, both of Hoopeston.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 15, at Saunders and McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 16, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 206 E. Front St., Harvard, with the Rev. Paul White officiating. Entombment will be Monday in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Harvard Food Pantry, PO Box 578, Harvard, IL 60033.
