Robert Beauchamp Obituary
He was born Nov. 29, 1985, in Libertyville, to Timothy and Rita (Roll) Beauchamp. Starting in the fourth grade, Bobby attended Riley School. He graduated from Marengo Community High School in 2004.
He worked alongside his dad at Tim's Automotive in Union. He was known for his exceptional mechanical skills and would even leave study hall during high school to go to the shop and work on the buses. He was a true "motor head" who enjoyed wheeling, snowmobiling, four-wheelers and race cars.
He was always up for an adventure and loved to travel. Bobby had a special connection with children, especially his nieces and nephews. His dogs, Smokey and Bandit, were also very important to him.
Bobby was known for his kindness and the respect he showed others. He was incredibly strong, both physically and emotionally. He was calm, wise beyond his years, and always looked for the good in everything. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents, Tim and Rita; his sisters, Christa (Ralph) Stalesky and Elizabeth Beauchamp; his grandma, Sharon (Doug) Fender; his great-grandpa, Aaron Beauchamp; his nieces and nephews, Bridget, Damien, Brandon, Destiney, Kaylee, Devin and Kamron; his uncles, Bryan Beauchamp and Brad (Melissa) Beauchamp; his aunts, Vickie (Jon) Stumpf and Dee Milenkovic; and many other extended family members and close friends who meant a great deal to Bobby.
The visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, at Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E. Grant Highway, Marengo. The visitation will continue from 10 a.m. to the 11 a.m. funeral service Wednesday, July 25, in the funeral home.
Interment will be in Marengo City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the trust set up for Bobby as the "Beauchamp Trust" at Prairie Community Bank, 18001 Jefferson St., P.O. Box 424, Union, IL 60180.

Bobby, you showed me light where there was dark. You kept me strong when I was not. You made me realize that there's so much more to life than much of what I was doing at the time. You opened my eyes, my mind, and my soul to much more than anyone else could. You were my brother, my mentor, and the best friend that anyone could ever ask for. I have many regrets in my life, and one of them is not telling you how much I appreciated everything that you did for me while I had the chance. I'm glad you're no longer upset or in pain anymore. You're free now, bro. I love you man.
To Mom and Dad:
I am of course referring to Rita and Tim; I say Mom and Dad because you were my second parents and you always will be. I can't even begin to imagine what you're going through. You raised one hell of a son. He was there for everyone around him and brought everyone together around him. Such a passion for life, and everything he did in it. He was my brother, and I miss him dearly, and he'll always have a special place in my heart. I sat in the family section because I am family, we were all there for each other, and we always will be. The both of you know that I will always be here if the two of you need anything at any point. I love both of you as much as I love him and all the rest of my family and yours.

So many football games with pots of Tim's chili, so many wrestling matches with all of us rooting each boy on. So many days since they were little and grown into men. So few words left to say. We are all just so sorry.

Having been Bobby's principal at Riley School, I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing. It was always a pleasure to be around Bobby; he was one of those students who made you happy you chose the career you did. He was always polite, engaging and pleasant. My deepest sympathy goes to the Beauchamp family. I had the opportunity to see Bobby last year randomly for the first time since 2004. We had a nice short conversation but it will always be in my thoughts. He was such a great guy. He had such a large smile when he was talking about his nieces and nephews. We will never understand why things happen but I am sending strength to help your family to get through this. He will be missed.

I had the pleasure of knowing Bobby for many years although never becoming friends during that time. I could always tell that he was a great guy, who cared about his friends and family so much.
