Thelma Messheimer Obituary
Thelma A. Massheimer, 84, of Lakemoor, IL died Tuesday, July 26 at her home. She was born May 25, 1938 to Alice and Lester Neff in Grand Marsh, WI. On May 18, 1957 she married Kenneth Massheimer. Thelma is survived by three children Alyce Sorensen of Lakemoor, IL, Brian (Colleen) Massheimer of Marengo, IL and Frank (late Maria) Massheimer of Wonder Lake, IL; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren and one on the way; four sisters, Karen Szewczuk, Betty (Harold) Pickerill of Wisconsin, Joanne (Ron) Kamp of Richmond, IL and Sandra (late James) Neff of McHenry. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers James Neff and Dennis Becker and sister Bobby Hager. In her spare time, Thelma enjoyed crocheting and volunteering at Centegra Hospital and the Fox Lake American Legion. A Memorial Visitation will be held Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Colonial Funeral Home 591 Ridgeview Drive, McHenry, IL from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Interment will be private.
