Aunt Joyce has been my much-loved and personal mentor since 1965... forty years of encouragement and counsel. Losing her leaves a huge empty place by my side that another could never fill. But her rich wisdom, communicated mostly through letters over the years, will continue to counsel me in days to come. I have saved every letter. Since her wisdom is based on the wisdom of God and comes from His Bible, it will never become outdated. I am so thankful for Aunt Joyce, my sometimes-summer mom, and do love her very much.
