Pam, it is with such sorrow that I saw Bob's photo yesterday in the Times Memoriam section. He was a good man and I enjoyed working with him at the Post Tribune. He always spoke of you with such fondness. He'll be missed by so many. Know that you and all his family are in my prayers. Sincerely, Nancy

Condolences to Bob's loved ones. He's gone too soon. I remember meeting him at the Post Tribune, then the Slovak Club and and a Court Security staffer at the Gary Courthouse, we always had a friendly and interesting chat . Such a personable guy! I hadn't seen him in awhile and was so saddened by hearing that he had become ill. I know his family and friends will miss him dearly. May God bless.

Oh my gosh Diane I didn’t see this until just now. I am so sorry. Bob was such a great guy. No matter how much time passed in between us running into each other it was like time never passed. I am so sorry for you and the rest of the family. He was truly one of a kind. Sending all our prayers. Joni Stolarz Fryer and family.

He can only be physically gone but never the life lived and the memories shared. Have faith, be strong and know that you’re not alone.”

My deepest condolences to Pam and the entire Lowry family. Bob was a member of a group of us who met almost every day for breakfast. We all enjoyed each other's company and always had a lot of laughs. Then came the pandemic and we haven't really seen much of each other for 16 months. He will be greatly missed. He always called me his pal. I got to talk to him about a week ago and the last thing he said to me was good bye my pal. I hoped to see him again but that wasn't to be. Rest in peace Bob. Good bye pal.
