DAVID BLUMBERG Obituary
David Alex Blumberg, 63, died October 15th after a four year battle with cancer. He was born in New York City, a place he loved, and has been a resident of Akron, Ohio since 2002. David was an avid golfer and music lover and was employed at Blumberg Investments. He was preceded in death by mother, Judith Israel; and is survived by wife, Mary Beth; daughters, Sophie Blumberg of Valley Village, CA and Lucy Blumberg of Brooklyn, NY; step- children, Elizabeth Cardarelli of Akron, OH and David Falatok of Princeton, NJ; sister, Susan (Andy Needle) Blumberg, cousins, Lynda, Michael, Barbara, John and Steven Monsey, Judy, Robert "Bobby," Bruce and Nancy Blumberg; nieces, Leah Needle and Chloe Myer; and nephew, Thomas Myers. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 27, 1:00pm at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1361 W. Market St., Akron, OH 44313 with the Rev. Mark J. Pruitt officiating. Interment in St. Paul's Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul's Music and Choral Program.
