Although I lost contact with Ed through the years, I always looked up to him as a child while growing up on Long Island. He inspired my love of finance and he has my prayers. God bless his family, we love you Jean.

To Jean, Edward Jnr. and Tommy.
I first met Ed on a flight from Shannon to New York. A firm but warm handshake, a direct look from those sharp blue eyes and of course that smile. A man of great wisdom, kindness and humour and always a warm welcome for friends, family and stranger alike.
"May the road rise to meet you Ed."

As hard as it will be to see the rocking chair at the beach house empty, always remember all the fond memories that chair alone holds.

We are with you all in thought and prayer. Bonnie & Bill

To Ed's wife and family
As a former member of the NYSE back to 1967 I had the pleasure to meet and know Ed for many years. What a genttleman and someone to be admired. Our paths continues to cross out on the North Fork as Ed met my Dad at the NFCC. I am sorry for your loss--Bill Bertsch
