FREDI KRONENBERG Obituary
With great sorrow we mourn the death of Fredi Kronenberg, scientist, at her home April 20 from lung cancer. Survived by her mother Honey, her sister and brother- in-law Kim and Allen and her stepfather Gene. Director of the Rosenthal Center for Complementary & Alternative Medicine at Columbia University, a passionate lover of nature and an avid photographer. A celebration of her life will be held at a future date.

Fredi Kronenberg made a video including my late wife, Inez McCoy Greenstadt.
I would like to obtain a copy of the DVD version of this video as remembrance of my wife. William M. Greenstadt (503) 327 1669).

I am really sad to hear about Fredi's death. She was my neighbor and my sons favorite friend. Fredi and my 10 yr old son are great friends. They always talk about bees, nature, etc. We miss her very much. My deepest sympathy to her family and friends.

I really loved Fredi. While we did not have a lot of time together, the time was always precious and spanned about 20 years. She was so brilliant, so humble, and at the same time possessed the straight forward honesty of a New Yorker tempered with an incredible abundance of kindness, playfulness, and love. The last time we were together, she, I, and a mutual friend were skipping arm and arm down the corridor of a phytochemistry conference. Something you just do not see PhDs do (smile), especially in sight of other PhDs (big smile). I was blessed to have known her and my heart goes out to her family and good friends whom I know will feel the loss greatly.

Fredi was my oldest friend since we were 6 year sold. She was brilliant but also an incredibly loving and humble person.
He work will live on and so will her wonderful spirit and positivity.
Fredi will always be in my heart!
