HELENE SEEMAN

SEEMAN--Helene Zucker, on June 27, 2010. Born April 20, 1950. Beloved wife of Fred, loving mother of Ford and Curtis, cherished daughter of Marcia and the late Benjamin Zucker, dear sister of Michele Kanter and Herbert and Cynthia Zucker, devoted aunt of Zoe, Zev, Eric, Blayne, Arthur and Amber. Graduate of Bronx High School of Science, Boston University, and master's degree of Library Science-Expertise in Documentation. Helene began her career at Louis K. Meisel Gallery, Soho, NY. In 1978 she co-authored the book "Soho", A Guide to the Community. Reviewed by the New York Times, now classified as a historical documentation of Soho. She later researched and documented a second book entitled "Photo Realism". From 1980 forward she took great pride as director of the Art Acquisition Program at Prudential. In her most recent years she taught the arts at NYU with great enthusiasm. Helene was a shining light to her family and all those who knew her. She loved life and lived it to the fullest.
